Anti-Spam Policy

Spammers Not Welcome Here

This should go without saying, but we'll say it anyway: it's not OK to spam people. If you try, we will immediately close your Award Pay account. You will not get any refund.

Award Pay has a no tolerance spam policy. Award Pay's customer support actively monitors imported lists and emails going to a large number of subscribers. If you know of or suspect any violators, please notify us at via support ticket.

It's important that as a sender, you know what spam is, too. We'd hate to see you make the mistake of spamming anyone. So let's talk about what spam is and what happens if you do it at Award Pay.

What is Spam?

Electronic junk mail. Some people define spam even more generally as any unsolicited Email. However, if a long-lost relative or friend finds your Email address and sends you a message, this could hardly be called spam, even though it's unsolicited. Real spam is generally Email advertising for some product sent to a mailing list.

Thing You May Not Do With Award Pay

  • Send email to people who have not specifically requested that information from you.
  • Post irrelevant links to your website in discussion forums, newsgroups or classifieds sites like Craigslist.
  • Use email lists that you purchased, rented, leased, or in any way bought from a third party. This includes email addresses that you purchased via coregistration.
  • Send unsolicited email through a third party in order to try to get people to sign up to your Award Pay managed email list, or to visit a website that you market using Award Pay in any way.
  • This includes trying to get people to sign up on an Award Pay generated web form that you have placed an external website OR trying to get them to email an Award Pay email address.

These aren't the only things we might consider spam. But they're a good guide. Not sure if we'd consider something to be spam? Contact us and find out!

How Award Pay protects you from sending spam
  • Verification - Award Pay's system automatically sends all new signups an email confirming their interest in receiving emails us.
  • Unsubscription - Every email generated from Award Pay that is replied to with an unsubscribe request is fulfilled immediately.

Isn't there a law restricting Spam?

Yes, but state spam statutes vary so it is important to conform to the strictest standards. Many states have spam statutes, and they all differ; each state has its own definition of unsolicited commercial email. Additionally, there are various federal agencies keeping track of spam including the Federal Trade Commission.
